Seattle University

Seattle University is a private, Jesuit university home to 4,600 undergraduates. Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, SU is in the epicenter of the most educated populations in the nation. At the center of SU’s Jesuit academic experience is the core curriculum, which includes the following unique courses: rhetoric of sustainable food; challenges to religious faith; a sound ecosystem; and art for social change. SU’s excellent nursing program is its most competitive program followed by business and engineering. SU does not have a Greek system. SU students contribute hundreds of thousands of service hours annually- 3x the national average. SU was also ranked #15 for on campus dining in the U.S. and there are more than 120 coffee shops within a one mile of campus!
